Heywood Pension Technologies are proud to announce that they have successfully connected their ISP solution to the Pensions Dashboards Programme’s digital architecture and are starting to expand their testing of end-to-end transactions.

Heywood’s first involvement with the programme began in 2016, when the company became involved in building a dashboard prototype as part of the industry working group. Heywood was subsequently announced as an alpha programme participant in April 2021 and have been directly involved in designing the Dashboard’s ‘find and view’ APIs.

As strong advocates of the programme, Heywood’s ISP solution will benefit more than their 179 customer schemes and their 8 million members; their ISP solution has been designed to work for anyone, regardless of the underlying admin platforms in use. Their service places importance on more than compliance – it also champions support for what happens after the staging deadlines have been met.
Heywood believe that the need for bandwidth across a controlled number of ISP connections will contribute to the overall sustainability of the industry architecture. The company has a strong background in designing reliable, data driven systems that work securely at scale - their employer pension data hub, i-Connect, already handles over 50 million data updates a year.
