Heywood Pension Technologies, a leading provider of pension management solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sue Clarke as its new Chief People Officer (CPO).

 

In her role as CPO, Sue Clarke will report directly to the Interim CEO, Sian Jones, and play a pivotal role in ensuring that Heywood's business strategy aligns with all HR activities. With nearly 30 years of senior HR leadership experience, Sue will lead Heywood's people function, driving the company's strategy to attract, develop, and retain top talent. She will also focus on preserving and enhancing Heywood's inclusive culture, emphasising diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

 

Sue Clarke brings a wealth of expertise and experience to Heywood. Prior to joining the team, she served as the HR Director for the UK businesses of Equiniti. During her tenure, Sue was responsible for shaping and implementing the HR strategy for over 3,000 employees.

 

One of her recent achievements was the successful introduction and launch of the salary sacrifice electric vehicle scheme in the UK, which had positive impacts on both social responsibility and employee engagement. As a key member of the senior HR leadership team, she was recognized with multiple award nominations by the CIPD and HR Excellence, particularly in the categories of engagement and diversity. Sue Clarke has also held global business partnering roles in manufacturing and engineering industries, making her a versatile and highly skilled HR professional with experience in various specializations, including TUPE, employee relations, shared services, and HR systems and analytics.

 

Sue Clarke expressed her enthusiasm about her new role, stating, "I am excited to join Heywood at a time of growth for the company. Heywood has a great culture, and as we grow larger, it will be important to maintain our strengths and ensure we're in a great place people-wise to take on new challenges while maintaining our technological prowess for our existing and new customers."
