Heywood Pension Tech

Heywood Pension Technologies, a leading provider of pension management solutions, hosted a highly successful webinar yesterday focused on helping schemes prepare for pensions dashboards. The event featured insightful discussions and expert guidance from The Pensions Regulator, on the integration process for schemes planning to connect to the dashboard.

During the webinar, Heywood Pension Technologies conducted a poll to gauge the impact of the recent statement by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) regarding the delay in the delivery of the pensions dashboards. The poll specifically asked attendees whether this delay has affected the timeline for schemes' plans to connect to the dashboard.

The results of the poll were encouraging, with only 13% of respondents indicating that the DWP's statement had impacted their schemes' timelines. This finding highlights the proactive approach and readiness of the majority of schemes, as they recognise the importance of undertaking the necessary preparation work well in advance of the dashboard's implementation.

"Heywood Pension Technologies is delighted to share the positive poll results from our recent webinar," said David Rich, Head of Data Services at Heywood Pension Technologies. "Unlike the naysayers who haven’t been close to their preparation, we are delighted to see our attendees understand the urgency to get dashboards ready. The fact that only a small percentage of schemes reported a delay in their integration plans demonstrates the industry's commitment to ensuring a smooth transition to the pensions dashboards. As we said last week following the DWP announcement, waiting until the last minute to connect to the digital architecture will only result in failure for all involved. We encourage all schemes to take advantage of the current period to continue or begin their preparations promptly, rather than delaying any further."

The webinar provided valuable insights into the key steps schemes should take to successfully connect to the pensions dashboard. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain a comprehensive understanding of the technical requirements and best practices for integrating their schemes with the upcoming dashboard.

Heywood Pension Technologies remains dedicated to supporting schemes throughout the integration process, offering innovative solutions and expert guidance to ensure a seamless transition. The company's award-winning technology and extensive industry experience empower schemes to embrace the benefits of the pensions dashboard while maintaining compliance and security.
